Answering a Need
Throughout the U.S., we are facing a severe housing shortage. Families impacted by this deficit is evident right here in our community. In Muskegon County, approximately 9,000 housing units will be needed in the next decade. That's why our work of helping families gain stability through homeownership and preserving the affordable housing stock is so important.

Our History
Habitat Kent was founded in 1983 and expanded to Northern Muskegon County in 2025. Since then, we have served more than 800 families through home repairs, homeownership, and homeowner education.
